Accreditation and Assessment Overview of 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Social Work Program
Accreditation of a baccalaureate social work program by the Council on Social Work Education鈥檚 Board of Accreditation indicates that it meets or exceeds criteria for the assessment of program quality evaluated through a peer review process. An accredited program has sufficient resources to meet its mission and goals and the Board of Accreditation has verified that it demonstrates compliance with all sections of the Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards.
The Social Work Program at 糖心Vlog was developed in 1978. Initial accreditation from the Council on Social Work Education was received in 1982 with full accreditation in 1984. It has been continuously accredited since that time having completed successful reaffirmations in 1992, 2001, and 2016. The program has now been reaffirmed by the Council on Social Work Education until the year 2024.

Application for major reference
Students should use this form to obtain references for their application to the major process.
By the end of the spring semester of the sophomore year the student must, among other requirements, submit a reference letter to the department chair. Ideally this should be from a social worker or social service personnel.
To gain full admission into the social work program the student must, among other requirements, submit two additional letters of reference to the department chair. These must be from someone in the community and a person of the student’s own choosing.
